About Gokarna
Gokarna is a working temple town on the Karnataka coast that also happens to have the best beach trek in South India. The classic route runs Kudle → Om → Half Moon → Paradise, scrambling over headlands between coves, and most group departures do it over a morning with a swim at the far end. Nights are shacks, bonfires and cheap thalis; days are cliff paths and the Mahabaleshwar temple in the old town.
