About
Hyderabad Trekking Club started as a meetup group and still runs like one: volunteer-led day treks around Ananthagiri, Rachakonda and the Deccan forts, priced close to cost. Great for a first weekend out of the city, and the easiest way to meet people who trek every week.

★ 4 · Good value, slightly large group
Twenty-eight people is a lot for a small hill station. Everything ran on time and the stay was comfortable, but I'd pick a smaller departure next time.
★ 4 · Great trip, long drive
The destination and the organisation were both excellent. Only gripe is the overnight drive — bring a neck pillow and don't expect much sleep on the ghat road.
