Monks on Wheels grew out of a riding group and still keeps that feel — offbeat routes, longer halts, and itineraries built around light rather than checklists. Their monsoon departures to Agumbe, Vagamon and the Malenadu belt are the ones that sell out first.

✫ 5 · Exactly what a solo trip should be
Booked alone and knew nobody on the bus. By the second morning we were splitting breakfast and swapping camera rolls. Captain kept the timings tight without making it feel like a school trip.
✫ 3 · Fine, but the food was repetitive
No complaints about safety or logistics, and the stay was decent. Three meals of the same menu got old though, and one viewpoint was skipped because we ran late.
