Reach Nittur at dawn, breakfast at the homestay, then start the trail through the forest to Hidlumane falls and up the wet rock beside it. The trail opens onto grassland and the shrine at the top — about 6 km of climbing. Jeeps down at sunset.

Solid weekend break✫ 4
Good balance of activity and downtime. Rooms were basic but clean. The bonfire night was the highlight — everyone actually talked instead of staring at phones.
Good value, slightly large group✫ 4
Twenty-eight people is a lot for a small hill station. Everything ran on time and the stay was comfortable, but I'd pick a smaller departure next time.
Yes — most people on our departures book solo. You'll be added to the group WhatsApp three days before departure, and the trip captain handles introductions on the bus.
Departures are capped, and the exact number is on the booking page. Anything above 20 runs with two captains.
Refunds follow the cancellation policy shown on the departure — 90% up to 15 days before, 50% up to 7 days, nothing inside 72 hours.
This is a moderate route. If you can walk 5 km without stopping you'll manage; start climbing stairs a few weeks before if you want to enjoy it rather than survive it.
