Day-wise itinerary
Day 1 — Overnight to Badami, the cave temples⌄
Arrive Badami by morning, check in and walk up to the four cave temples carved into the cliff. Afternoon at the Bhutanatha temples on the far side of Agastya lake, and sunset from the north fort.

Day 2 — Pattadakal and Aihole⌄
Full day on the Malaprabha river: Pattadakal's UNESCO cluster in the morning with a guide walking the group through the Dravidian–Nagara split, then Aihole's Durga and Lad Khan temples after lunch. Mahakuta on the way back.

Day 3 — Bouldering and the ride home⌄
An optional morning bouldering session on the sandstone with a local climber, or a slow walk through Badami's old town. Board the return bus after lunch.
