Day-wise itinerary
Day 1 — Drive in, Belum caves⌄
Overnight drive from Hyderabad reaching Belum by morning. The full lit circuit takes about two hours underground — humid, low in places, and dropping to Pathala Ganga at the deepest point. Afternoon at Yaganti with its cave temples.

Day 2 — Gandikota and the road home⌄
Drive west to Gandikota for the fort and the gorge viewpoint, lunch on the rim, then the road back. Hyderabad drop by 11 pm.

Sunrise was worth the 4 am start. Everything from pickup to drop was on schedule and the WhatsApp group before the trip made it easy to settle in.
