Overnight drive from Hyderabad, reaching Gandikota by mid-morning. Explore the fort, the mosque and the temples, then kayak on the reservoir in the afternoon and set up camp on the rim for sunset, dinner and stargazing.

Day 2Sunrise, Belum caves and back

Sunrise over the gorge, breakfast at camp, then the two-hour drive to Belum caves for the underground walk before heading home. Hyderabad drop by 10 pm.

Stay was clean, food was proper home-cooked local stuff, and the itinerary had enough slack that we weren't rushing between viewpoints. Would book with them again.
