Day 1 โ Bengaluru โ Valparai, the ghat climbโ
Overnight drive to Pollachi, breakfast at Aliyar, then the climb โ 40 numbered hairpins through the Anamalai Tiger Reserve with a stop at Monkey Falls. Reach the estate bungalow by afternoon and settle in.

A morning walk to the Nallamudi Poonjolai viewpoint looking out over the Grass Hills, then a slow drive through the estates for lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri tahr. Sholayar dam in the late afternoon.

โ 3 ยท Fine, but the food was repetitive
No complaints about safety or logistics, and the stay was decent. Three meals of the same menu got old though, and one viewpoint was skipped because we ran late.
