Day-wise itinerary
Day 1 — Drive in, adventure park, camp night⌄
Leave Bengaluru at 7 am and reach Yelagiri by 10 after the 14 hairpins. Adventure park in the afternoon — zip-line, rappelling and the rope course — then set up camp near the lake for a bonfire and barbecue.

Day 2 — Swamimalai trek and return⌄
Sunrise trek up Swamimalai hill, about two hours return, then breakfast and boating on Punganur lake. Jalagamparai falls on the drive down, back in Bengaluru by 7 pm.

Sunrise was worth the 4 am start. Everything from pickup to drop was on schedule and the WhatsApp group before the trip made it easy to settle in.
